Parinaz Sobhani is the Head of AI at Georgian, where she leads a team of ML engineers and scientists working closely with growth-stage companies. Their collective mission is to accelerate the adoption of AI, co-developing machine learning solutions that establish a lasting competitive edge for these companies. With a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa, Parinaz has specialized in natural language understanding. Before joining Georgian, Parinaz honed her expertise at esteemed institutions like Microsoft Research and the National Research Council of Canada working on on machine translation and different deep learning architectures for text processing. Parinaz's transition to Georgian over seven years ago marked a significant pivot in her career, driven by a desire to impact the startup ecosystem. Her role at Georgian encapsulates her commitment to shaping the future of AI, addressing the unique challenges faced by startups in their journey of adopting AI.
