The annual FWD50 conference
FWD50 will return to Ottawa in November for two days of in-person workshops, speakers, case studies, and the community networking for which we’ve become known worldwide. In a time of tumultuous change, it’ll be a much-needed chance to reconnect, commiserate, and recharge.
We've been running conferences since 2017 and all sessions have been recorded and posted to our Community Platform: Access FWD50.

Who is Access FWD50 for?
We’re creating a safe space for our international community to have open discussions about topics that matter to all of us. FWD50 Access is the ideal platform for public servants, innovators, academics, and civic technologists. For those working for change, this community is a chance to know they aren’t alone, and to learn new skills and technologies they can put to work immediately. For academics, agitators, and front-line workers, the community is a chance to share hard-won lessons and collaborate with peers around the world.
What if I never attended FWD50?
You can access all session recordings and additional materials, as well as new content created leading up to our annual conference all for free!
What if I couldn’t attend FWD50 2025, but would like to access the talks?
You can purchase a content pass for $300 which gives you access to all 2025 sessions as well as additional resources and exclusive content. Simply mail us at info@fwd50.com and we’ll upgrade your account.
