Dipayan Ghosh, Ph.D. is co-director of the Digital Platforms & Democracy Project at the Harvard Kennedy School and faculty at Harvard Law School. He is the author of Terms of Disservice: How Silicon Valley is Destructive by Design (2020). Ghosh has been cited and published widely on privacy, AI and disinformation in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, BBC and others. He previously led strategic efforts on privacy at Facebook and prior, served as an economic advisor in the Obama White House. Ghosh received a doctorate in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from MIT.
