Omar is a news anchor, producer and video journalist for CBC’s television, radio and online platforms. In 2015, Omar travelled to Tanzania and Malawi to produce a documentary about improving mental health care for youth in the area. His passion for people, cultures and travel has led him to explore dozens of countries around the globe. You can catch him weeknights on CBC Ottawa News at 11.
