Ramy is a Waterloo-based engineer, designer and maker. As a partner to Wavefront, he helps facilitate Smart Cities Design Thinking workshops to imagine the future of communities in Canada, from coast to coast. Outside of this facilitation work, he works with Connected Lab in Toronto and leads a Retail Innovation Lab for Mattel in Kitchener, Ontario.
Leveraging tools & practices from the worlds of Machine Learning and Human-Centered Design, Ramy has straddled technical, design, and business-oriented roles, ranging from FinTech startups to Fortune 500 financial services and insurance companies.
