Dinesh Mohan (he/him)

Dinesh Mohan is Director General of Cloud Services at Shared Services Canada (SSC). He has extensive experience in leading programs and is an expert in cloud, enterprise architecture, security, telecom & data networking, and network/service management.

Having worked in the private sector for sixteen years, Dinesh transitioned to the federal government in 2009 as Manager, IM/IT Architecture & Data Centre Migration at the Department of National Defense. From 2010 to 2013, he worked for the Communications Security Establishment, the Government of Canada’s national cryptologic agency. He was Manager of Architecture and Technology Assurance, IT Security Guidance, Advice & Solutions before joining SSC in 2013. Dinesh has since held a variety of positions in Network and IT Security, Cyber Protection and IT Security Operations, Security Management and Governance, and most recently, Cloud Services.

Dinesh authored many industry-leading technology standards and patents. He received awards from Nortel and many International Standards organizations. He is frequently asked to speak at international tech conferences.

An active volunteer, Dinesh served on many boards including the International Languages Program School, and The Mahatma Gandhi Peace Council and The Great India Festival.

Dinesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications Technology Management from Carleton University.
