Shingai Manjengwa

Shingai Manjengwa is a recognized AI leader with extensive experience operationalizing the responsible use of data and AI across industries and developing AI education curricula. Shingai currently leads AI Education at Mila, the Quebec AI Institute, and has also led technical education at the Vector Institute for AI.

Shingai works with governments and organizations on AI policy, governance, and responsible AI adoption. She serves on the board of startup Theoriq AI (formerly ChainML) and is the founder of Fireside Analytics Inc., a global leader in data science education. Shingai's courses have reached over 500,000 learners on platforms like IBM’s CognitiveClass.ai and Coursera. Shingai developed Canada’s first Ministry of Education-inspected high school data science course and has delivered impactful AI education programs for students, policymakers, professionals, and underserved communities.
