As a Free Agent Senior Advisor in the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) at Global Affairs Canada, his current priorities include leading the design of the virtual outreach and engagement sessions to be hosted by the TCS that will:
As part of the deliverable, Rob will continue to evaluate various platforms to bolster the implementation of the TCS engagement plan.
He will also support the DXP in an advisory role, a digital evolution project for the TCS. He will create a foundational automated reporting tool for these virtual outreach and engagement sessions that will eventually connect with the DXP.
And help design and leverage technology and multimedia to pioneer the design of innovative supporting collaboration tools for the Trade Commissioner Service. These tools enable the TCS to seamlessly connect with stakeholders, especially during international tradeshows, to help foster meaningful interactions.
In his previous role in the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, he launched the Federal Digital Credentials Community, targeting folks working in the digital credential space in the Government of Canada.
It's this knack for building communities and facilitating meaningful conversations. Rob continues to co-lead and support initiatives such as LeadersGC and OneTeamGov Canada. He has also established a federal community for employees on X through @HiCommunities.
