Delivering digital solutions together for Canada

One of the largest IT shared services organizations in the world, Shared Services Canada (SSC) provides modern, reliable and secure technology services that enable Government of Canada organizations to deliver services to Canadians.

Since its creation in 2011, SSC has advanced digital government in a variety of ways, from improving network infrastructure and equipping public servants with modern tools, to providing the sort of efficient hosting and client-centric digital services that proved critical to government services and programs during the pandemic.

But technology moves fast – and maintaining the status quo isn’t enough. As an integrated service delivery organization, SSC is working as one, powering digital services for the Government of Canada to make sure it doesn’t just keep up, but stays ahead. This OneSSC approach recognizes the rapid evolution of technology and responds by building a culture of collaboration, curiosity, innovation and openness to change to deliver excellence in digital government. Delivering Digital Solutions Together for Canada (Digital Together) outlines SSC’s plan for the future, with a set of integrated technology roadmaps that lay out how SSC will work with its partners and clients to provide world-class technology services to the Government of Canada.

Under Digital Together, SSC is accelerating the delivery of digital services, reliable and secure connectivity services and modern hosting solutions to provide federal government departments with the tools they need to navigate the complex digital ecosystem and support the ambitions of a truly digital government. It is also focused on maintaining cyber security to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Government of Canada information and networks.

SSC President Scott Jones will talk about transformation, innovation, and why he wants his department to be the one nobody thinks about because it just works.
