Curious about how new technology has an impact on the delivery of public services, Ashley has worked in progressively challenging positions at all levels of government.
Since 2010, she has been actively involved in Canada’s Open Data and Open Government Community both as a community champion and implementer.
Her new role as Director of Data Architecture and Innovation at Treasury Board Secretariat, has led her to expand her knowledge and engage others to discover the world of Open. Her passionate and innovative character drives her to help lure in and shine a new light on the world of Digital Government. With ongoing projects relating to GC data strategy, AI policy instruments, AI procurement tools, and Leading Open First initiative, she hopes to bring that same passion to those around the GC.
