Kaveh’s expertise is in use of data science to inform policy and operational decision making in the public sector.
He has been involved in data analytics and data science for over ten years in both academia and government. Recently, he led the development of ECCC’s Departmental Data and Analytics Strategy.
He has worked at a number of departments, including the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Employment Social Development Canada. He teaches Analytics for Public Policy at University of Ottawa’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Kaveh has a master’s degrees from Queen’s University in Economics and University of Ottawa in Public Policy.
