Katie leads a team of Quantum Computing Researchers whose work encompasses everything from the fundamental to the practical of quantum computing, all in pursuit of demonstrating quantum advantage. She is also responsible for academic and industry partnership research within the IBM Quantum Network. She has extensive technical and engineering leadership and development experience, including roles such as Program Director for Systems Development and Design, and Packaging Lead in the IBM Systems Group. Katie has a well-established track record of defining and executing strategy in new fields.
