Winner, 2019 IDeA Canada Competition, Architectural / Industrial Design barriers

Jared is a MASc. candidate studying metallurgy at the University of Waterloo, from where he is a recent graduate of Mechanical Engineering. He has always been passionate about the automotive industry, a passion which extends to all forms of human mobility. His mechanical aptitude and desire to make an impact is what drove him to pursue engineering, and his enthusiasm and pride is what keeps him inspired. His professional experience extends to various areas within the field of engineering, including production, testing, quality control, and design. Outside of working hours his mechanical passion continues, incorporating a wide range of hands-on skills through the rebuilding, modification, and repair of cars.
