Michelle Lee is a people-centered software maker. Currently, she works at Protocol Labs building new protocols for the decentralized web. She was a 2012 Code for America fellow with the City of Philadelphia, and went on to be cofounder and CEO of Textizen, a mobile platform that connects cities with difficult-to-reach audiences in scalable, efficient ways. Textizen’s work in 35+ cities across the U.S. spanned public participation, human services, and youth outreach. Textizen became part of GovDelivery (now Granicus) in 2015.

Michelle was a 2012 Code for America fellow with the City of Philadelphia. Later, she served on the University City District’s Just Spaces Advisory Committee and City of Philadelphia’s GoAgile Advisory Committee. Previously, Michelle was a UX Designer at Google. Michelle created Forms under Google’s 20% time policy, and it is now the fasting growing form of Google Doc online.
