Evelina Pituch (she/her)

Evelina Pituch has been an occupational therapist since 2015 and is a doctoral candidate in rehabilitation sciences at Université de Montréal under the direction of Prof. Carolina Bottari. She is also a student representative at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal, one of the largest rehabilitation research centres in Canada. Ms. Pituch holds a scholarship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and her thesis work focuses on the needs of parents with disabilities and on innovative rehabilitation solutions to better meet the needs of families with young children. Through her project, which brings together clinical and community partners, she hopes that people living with disabilities will be more effectively supported by government policies in their role as parents. Ms. Pituch is collaborating on other research projects as well, including one relating to sexual rehabilitation for adult stroke victims.
