Wendy Griffin is a veteran Business Transformation champion whose positive energy and straightforward style add depth and impact to any speaking event. In recent years, Wendy has helped hundreds of WCB (Workers Compensation Board) Nova Scotia employees understand and become champions for the organization’s business transformation. She has taught Managers to believe in their own power to coach and motivate their teams. She has spoken passionately about injury prevention at various industry events, including the popular Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Symposium, and Retail and Warehouse Safety Events. Through these engagements, she has amplified conversations about injury prevention, and positively influenced behaviours. Inside WCB, Wendy is the lead change champion. Employees depend on Wendy to tell it all, and tell it like it is. She is an important part of the reason that employee sessions at the WCB are standing room only affairs. She provides context as well as facts, and does so in a manner that cultivates both understanding and trust. Wendy generously volunteers her time to support various causes, and in these volunteer capacities has presented at several donor recognition events for groups such as Sears Canada Ride for Cancer, and Canadian Blood Services.
