FWD50 is more than an event— we’re a community. We offer opportunities to connect and learn throughout the year. From our YouTube channel, to workshops and executive content, here’s how to join us all year long.
We’re adding a series of events in the months leading up to our annual conference, exclusively for FWD50 2021 ticket-holders. These events include workshops, meetups, debates, and more, and are a chance to dive deeper into vital public sector topics with world-renowned experts on policy and technology.
Executive Book Club
The FWD50 Executive Book Club is a chance to discuss the latest thinking in digital transformation and public sector innovation with your fellow leaders and noted experts.
Each Executive Book Club meeting is a candid 90-minute online conversation, presented by FWD50 with the help of some of our sponsors. Each session, we cover a brief synopsis of a book and its key ideas, then hold an open peer discussion with the author.
To maintain the intimacy and conversational tone of the Executive Book Club, we run it as an invite-only executive event limited to a small group of participants. If you’re a government executive, you can request to participate in upcoming book club events on a first-come, first-served basis. We give first right of refusal to executives who have attended the previous club, but will add you to our waitlist should a spot become available for an upcoming event.
Presented in collaboration with the Canada School of Public Service’s Digital Academy, FWDThinking is an online series featuring the world’s notable public servants, policy-makers and technologists in digital government. Each episode focuses on a particular aspect of digital transformation, and topics range to design, ethics to law-making and resiliency. Watch all episodes here.
