Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Mobility Samsung Electronics Canada

Paul Edwards is the Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Mobility at Samsung Electronics Canada, where he creates and executes strategies to deliver mobility solutions for Fortune 1000 enterprises and top tier government agencies leveraging Samsung’s industry leading device and software platforms.

Prior to joining Samsung, Paul spent six years as Vice President of Carrier Sales at BlackBerry, supporting the Sprint business unit where he helped Sprint solidify its high ARPU clients and reach third best overall global BlackBerry sales status. After its launch and ramp up period, the account produced $6.6B in sales over a three-year period and reached number one in global sales in 2010. In this role, Paul had the opportunity to engage with carrier and OEM CEOs on a regular basis, formulating strategies to transform business models and drive joint marketing programs into the U.S. marketplace.

Prior to BlackBerry, Paul held several leadership roles at TELUS Mobility over a 13-year period with various market-facing teams during the Eastern Canadian expansion (post ClearNET merger). Paul created the national SMB sales division, managed the Eastern dealer channel and also innovated to establish the Enterprise Sales and Professional Services teams. All of these successful assignments were strategic to the current dominant position TELUS holds in the Canadian marketplace.
