Silvano Tocchi (he/him)

Director General Digital Services Directorate, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

Silvano joined the CRA in the fall of 2014, having spent the previous decade and a half at Employment and Social Development Canada. His team builds and manages the Agency’s public facing digital services; everything from helping Canadians establish their digital ID to enabling them to receive their correspondence in secure digital portals. If you haven’t set up your CRA MyAccount yet; you should – it will improve your day immeasurably.

Silvano (likes to think he) embraces new ideas, thrives on the collaboration required to turn them into real change and enjoys talking bragging about the CRA’s digital services and where they might go next.

Silvano earned a Diplôme d’études supérieures in international relations from the Institut universitaire de hautes études internationales in Geneva as well as a BA from the University of Ottawa.

However, Silvano’s proudest accomplishment is riding his bike to work, in Ottawa, all four seasons!
