Jamil Shinawi is a serial deep-tech entrepreneur, investor, and ecosystem builder.

He is CEO and co-founder of AHOY, the company building the operational layer for Physical AI: edge-first, sovereign systems that take perception to decisioning and action in under 100 milliseconds, running cities, utilities, transport, telecom, and sovereign sites in the real world, not just on a screen. 

Founded in 2018, AHOY has moved from research to production with repeatable, revenue-generating deployments across the GCC, Europe, and beyond, surpassing $100M in revenue with 330x growth over the past five years. The company is now formalizing Montreal as its North American R&D hub.

Active in global investor and policy circles, Jamil engages with tier-one institutions and strategic partners while maintaining close ties to regional founders via AHOY's founder networks.
