Co-Author of Our Biggest Fight: Reclaiming Liberty, Humanity, and Dignity in the Digital Age

Michael J. Casey is a journalist, podcaster and media leader. As CoinDesk's chief content officer, he oversaw a newsroom that won three awards, including the prestigious Gerald Loeb award, for coverage that led to the downfall of crypto exchange FTX, and was the chair and host of Consensus, CoinDesk's marquee annual conference. He is the co-host of CoinDesk's Money Reimagined podcast. Before joining CoinDesk, Casey was a founding staffer at MIT Media Labs's Digital Currency Initiative and a senior lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management. He also spent 18 years at The Wall Street Journal, where his last position was as a senior columnist covering global economic affairs. Casey has authored six acclaimed books. His latest – Our Biggest Fight: Reclaiming Liberty, Dignity and Humanity in the Digital Age, co-authored with the civc entrepreneur and Project Liberty founder, Frank McCourt – will be published on March 12.
