Skaidra (sky-dra) currently serves as the Director of Ontario Relations at the Council of Canadian Innovators, a collective representing more than 150 domestic high-growth technology-intensive companies. Founded in 2015 by Canada's most successful technology CEOs, CCI aims to amplify their voices in the public policy development process around innovation, countering the dominance of foreign multinationals and other entities not focused on Canadian economic growth.
Skaidra has previously held a range of digital transformation roles across the Ontario Government. Most recently she served as a Team Lead in Ontario’s Office of the Chief Corporate Information Officer (OCCIO), a hub connecting 4,000 Information and Information Technology specialists who work in partnership with ministries across the Government of Ontario to develop, deploy and maintain technology solutions within the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery. Previously she served as a Senior Advisor at the Ontario Digital Service, directly supporting Ontario’s first Chief Digital and Data Officer and Ontario’s first Minister Responsible for Digital Government. She also managed Medium.com/OntarioDigital – a blog on digital, the Ontario Government and all things in between.
Skaidra is an active co-organizer of Civic Tech Toronto, a volunteer-led community open to anyone with an interest in solving civic and social issues and a connector in the global Lithuanian diaspora. Labas/Bonjour!
