Emerging economy task force

The Emerging Economy Task Force is an entirely new model for the public service, one that is agile, nimble and designed to extract the best insights from our ever-changing economy. Rather than another white-haired panel of experts adding to the stack of seldom-read white papers that are strewn across our government ministries, the EETF is built around the best practices of disruptive startups, working in short / sharp sprints to come up with working solutions to complex societal problems. These could range from using AI to map and limit the spread of wildfires to standing up a quantum computing cluster.

Matt’s talk will focus not just on laying out the framework and planned applications of this model, but will seek out feedback and insights from those in attendance. After all, the maiden voyage is still ahead of us.
