Part 1: Diversity in AI means representing all – Attracting, hiring and retaining a diverse team to deliver AI solutions that work for everyone (40 minutes)
AI-driven solutions for government must be delivered by a diverse team in order to include all citizens. How can you attract, hire and retain diverse talent in order to achieve this goal? Microsoft’s mission, “to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more”, means we rely on a highly diverse workforce in order to innovate for all. We’ll share Microsoft’s approach to diversity hiring, inclusive culture, our progress and where we recognize more effort is required to improve. We’ll also discuss how AI is used to measure our progress internally, and help us better understand and remove barriers to diversity.
Part 2: Invest in yourself! Diversity in AI means everybody participates – “Tech Intensity” prepares your whole organization to deliver (40 minutes)
Successful AI is delivered by multi-function teams, not only IT. We’ll discuss a “growth mindset” culture and why it’s important for everyone to learn so you can fully participate in delivery of AI for Government. We’ll share highlights of AI Business School for Government and facilitate a roundtable discussion on one of the modules so you’ll be ready to continue your learning journey.
Part 3: Hands On! Empowering yourself with Data and AI (40 minutes)
We’ll show you how to accelerate your path with Lixar AI and Azure DataBricks, sharing the benefits through a hands-on lab. Let’s set up an environment where you become the hero & then we’ll empower your teams with PowerBI driven from a modern data pipeline. You’ll see some additional examples of how Azure DataBricks can help you achieve more.
