The formula for creating trust in digital government

Estonia, along with several other Nordic countries, are consistently ranked as no1 in delivering digital public services to its citizen with high public approval and trust. While the e-Estonian story is widely known in the world, what's much less known is how the society went from very low trust society to a high trust society in a mere decade. In fact, in Estonia the tax administration is one of the most trusted government institutions, seconded only by authorities that are literally responsible for saving lives.

The unique trust policy and its smart implementation strategy is what has been driving the digital transformation of Estonia and made possible everything there is. This talk will explain in full what is this radical policy, what's the larger impact on society and economy, and where this leads towards.
