Jasmine Shaw (she/her)

Release Train Engineer on the Maritime Helicopter Project, General Dynamics Mission Systems Canada

Jasmine Shaw is an engineer and passionate advocate for women in STEM. At General Dynamics Mission Systems – Canada, she is the Release Train Engineer on the Maritime Helicopter Project. In this role, Jasmine is instrumental in defining the engineering infrastructure and organization for the program’s in-service support phase. As RTE, she coordinates between engineering teams to resolve challenges, identifies opportunities for improvement, and translates program needs into action plans. At GDMS-C, Jasmine is a member of the Inclusion & Diversity Committee, and is leading several initiatives to improve the experiences of under-represented colleagues. Jasmine is also a recent Master of Applied Science graduate from Carleton University’s Technology Innovation Management program, where she conducted research on the business ecosystem structures that enable women to pursue education and careers in STEM. She is a Board member of the Society of Women Engineers – Ottawa and dedicates time to organizations including Carleton and WiDS.
