Associate professor at Smith School of Business, Kathryn is a thought leader in technology and IT-enabled digital transformation. She has conducted research in multiple government sectors including the agri-food, indigenous services, and healthcare.
Since arriving at Queen’s in 2003, she has published several books and played a pivotal role in pioneering new courses and programs in the areas of project management, digital product management, and strategy execution. Most notable is the launch of a Masters of Digital Product Management program in partnership with the Queen’s School of Computing.
Kathryn has worked with hundreds of organizations in North America to improve productivity and performance by digitalizing their business models and translating strategy into action.
Kathryn is also an avid researcher, she has published in top academic journals including MIS Quarterly, Journal of Information Technology, Decision Sciences, and the Harvard Business Review. On the global scale, Kathryn is the co-founder of the Digital Innovation, Transformation and Entrepreneurship special interest group (2019), an academic community that helps to shape research and thought leadership in this area of study.
