Digital transformation - and now AI - is changing not only the tools governments use, but how public institutions need to work, lead and adapt. Yet turning ambition into meaningful change remains difficult. Technology is rarely the hardest part…organizational culture, legacy ways of working, competing priorities, risk, capacity and the realities of leading change in complex public-sector environments can all stand in the way.
This interactive workshop will explore the change management challenge at the heart of digital and AI transformation. Following a brief framing discussion, participants will work together in a facilitated table-top exercise to identify the barriers they encounter, explore opportunities to overcome them, and share practical approaches drawn from their own experience.
We’ll close by bringing the room together to identify common themes and, importantly, the actions individuals can take in their own day-to-day work to help move digital and AI transformation forward.
Participants will leave with new perspectives, practical ideas and insights from peers facing many of the same challenges across government.
